Callie's Bajan Fishcakes

Hold on to your hats, it's going to be a spicy ride.

There is no menu item more ubiquitous than a Bajan fishcake. From high-brow events to local street fairs, you'll find fishcakes served piping hot from a bubbling pot of oil. Flavorful and filling, these make the perfect snack or finger food for parties of any sort. The fresh ingredients you need are listed in the video and you'll also need a slotted spoon, a deep pot, or an air fryer. I myself have recently been introduced to the modern marvel that is an air fryer and not only is cooking now quick and easy, it's also much easier to clean up. If you don't have one, now is a great time to purchase.

NOTE: Feel free to reduce (or increase) the amount of fresh hot peppers and herbs you use. In a pinch, you could swap out the Scotch Bonnet peppers for fresh cayenne peppers or any other hot pepper of your choice.
