The self-publishing workshop that teaches you everything

I've been quietly building up a self-publishing workshop to teach you every thing about writing, self-publishing, launching your beautiful book and everything else in between. In every interview I've ever done with another writer, the question always came up: "How did you do it?"

The truth is that when you live inside your own life it's hard to figure out how it manifestly differs from someone else's. So for years I didn't know how to begin answering it. Not until THE Joanne Hillhouse asked me to do a guest blog on her website did I have to tell her that I'd sit and think about it for a while. Well...days turned into weeks until I got back to her.

One day a lightbulb went off in my head. That blog post was the beginning of my Self-Publishing Workshop. I realised that every writing class focused only on craft or marketing your book. But so many other things happen in between those two parts of the process.

So I developed a course that would help writers take the idea from their head and turn it into a book that they could self-publish for just $99.

Since then I've taken elements of this course to Jamaica (twice) for book festivals and a writing academy in Trinidad has asked me to develop parts of it into a series of online classes to add to their syllabus. I've also been twice endorsed by Barbados' National Cultural Foundation to teach it to writers. And the feedback has been amazing. Two people have come back to me and told me those sessions helped them to unlock their writing style. And aspiring authors at all aspects of their journey felt the course improved their ability to self-publish a book. Looking forward to the next Self-Publishing Workshop in January 2026.
